Laos Bag

Handwoven in Laos using techniques passed down through generations of weavers, this shoulder bag carries the unmistakable signature of artisan textile craft. The patterning is built thread by thread on traditional wooden looms — a process that takes days and produces something no machine can replicate.

Roomy enough for daily essentials but soft and easy to carry, the bag works as well across the city as it does over a linen dress on warmer days. Its pattern reads as both folkloric and quietly modern, depending on what it sits beside.

Each bag is made in small workshops in northern Laos, where weaving is both a livelihood and a cultural inheritance. Slight differences in pattern, weave tension and dimension are part of the handmade process.
