Lombok Wooden Gathering Bowl

A generously scaled wooden gathering bowl, hand-carved from a single piece of timber on the island of Lombok. The form is intentionally organic — a soft, irregular silhouette that follows the grain of the wood rather than fighting it.

Sized for a centrepiece role: pile with fruit on a kitchen island, fill with magazines beside a sofa, or leave empty as a sculptural object on a console. The bowl has the kind of presence that anchors a room.

Each bowl is carved by hand from a single block of timber in small Lombok workshops. Variations in grain, tone and silhouette are part of the natural material.
