Kristina outside her Avalon Beach studio with Ernest
Kristina Brenke Studio always looks holiday-ready. It sort of beckons and brims with all the good stuff; stuff we’re seeing on Instagram from European summer revellers, window candy extraordinaire for passers by and Alma goers, and it all just looks more and more tasty several Margaritas in.
Kristina expertly straddles shop keeper, curator and maker, herself an acclaimed jeweller who launched her eponymous label in 2006 after designing and manufacturing for prominent London and Sydney jewellers for decades prior.
She is hoping to be back in the studio manufacturing her jewellery very soon, and we’ll hear more about that later, after she has completed her new website which is set to launch any day. For now, here’s what’s in store for the summer ahead.
Says Kristina “Upcoming arrivals include new clothing collections by Injiri and Eka from India, Hannoh Wessel from Italy; Sophie Digard bags and Scarves from France; light summer knits handcrafted in Melbourne by Francie; beach apparel and accessories from UK brand The Jacksons and France’s Ma Poesie as well as hand painted bags and new to the store, Alilamu from Kenya (very excited about those!).”
(Editor’s note: items pictured here are from Eka SS21 and may, or may not, be part of the collection found at Kristina Brenke Studio)
Much for locals and holiday-makers to look forward to and, honestly, we deserve it!
